Daniel Schreck

1980: Born, Daniel Connelly Schreck in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Kim David and Rebecca Schreck.

1994: Learns classical guitar. Buys first electric guitar, a Peavey T-60. First live performance on electric guitar -Pinball Wizard- at St. Valentine 8th grade show.

1995: Enters Bethel Park High School. Performs with Rush and the Destroyers at Telerama.

1996: Forms band Wrench Monkey as lead guitarist. Joins the Jason Planitzer Show on public access TV as musical accompaniment. First vocal performance with original songs.

1997: Forms band Karaoke as lead guitarist. Karaoke performs at battle of bands and on public access TV.

1998: Forms and performs with instrumental band Pentacol.

1999: Performs acoustic sessions at final high school show. Enters Franciscan University of Steubenville as Biology major.

2000: Joins the Horse Shoe Pitts as lead guitarist and vocalist.

2001: The Horse Shoe Pitts perform at various Steubenville venues including The Spot Bar, The Armory, and Stony Hollow Inn gathering over 500 fans per show.

2002: Joins the FOP band as guitarist and vocalist. Continues various performances.

2003: Farewell and Reunion show for The Horse Shoe Pitts at The Spot Bar. Graduates from Franciscan University, Cum Laude. Records the 6 track EP, Stairwell Sessions, at FUS Studios. Moves to Rome, Italy. Enters the Universities of Santa Croce and Regina Apostolorum, Graduate studies in Philosophy and Bioethics.

2004: Records the 4 track EP, A Lost Year, at Innovation Studios in Ohio. The short- release of previous recordings compiled in the out-of-print 10-track album, A Lost Year.

2005: Graduates from Universities in Rome, Magna Cum Laude. Moves back to Pittsburgh. Records 5 untitled tracks in Arizona with audio engineer Brandon Lata.

2006: Moves to New York City. Writes next album in his head, guitar, and piano while on the subway, streets, and room.

2007: Records the ten track LP Iconologia as producer, composer, and performer, at Cabrini Studios in 11 days with audio engineer Brandon Lata in North Collins, NY.

2008: Releases Iconologia on itunes and CD. Launches schreckmusic.com. Begins New York City promotion and performances. Records music video to ‘A Final Long Taste’ with Director Charles DeBold. Marries Anne Marie Longon. Begins work at Sony Music as global marketing consultant.

2009: Works as International Marketing Consultant for Sony Music Entertainment with the breaking music trio The Priests- over 1.5 million units sold internationally. ‘A Final Long Taste’ music video is released. ‘Close My Eyes’ featured on the national TV campaign ‘Imagine’. First child is born.
